Gary Matoso is a Seattle based photographer whose work is grounded in documentary photography and portraiture. He aims to make photographs and films that focus more on life than style, working with brands and organizations to tell their stories with purpose and heart.

As a photojournalist based in Paris, he worked on stories in Europe, The Middle East, and the former Soviet Union Republics. These experiences instilled a lifelong sense of curiosity and a desire to meaningfully connect with people. Today, he brings those ethos and storytelling skills to his clients, Fortune 10 companies to non-profits, creating films, photography and story-driven campaigns.

Gary is also the founder of Vignette, a creative and production team dedicated to helping brands and organizations find and tell their best stories. He and his team focus on making films, broadcast spots to feature documentaries, and photographs that capture the human experience.
